- 2 cups (475 ml) full-fat milk

How to make Mexican horchata drink
Step 1: Add the rice, almonds, and cinnamon sticks to the blender and blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds until completely powdered. Stop the blender occasionally and shake the blender if the ingredients stick to the sides of the container and continue.

Step 2: Add two cups of water, sugar, and vanilla to the ingredients. Blend for another 30 seconds. If your blender has enough capacity to add liquids, add another two cups of water and milk with the ingredients.
Otherwise, pour the ingredients from the mixer into a large container so you can add the water and milk.

Step 4: Strain the mixture through a sieve and pour into a pitcher. Serve with ice if desired. You can also garnish each serving glass with cinnamon powder or cinnamon stick and enjoy.
