
As mentioned, halva is a dessert baked for the dead. You can decorate it in any way you like.
In a saucepan, boil the sugar and water for 5 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the rose water and saffron and remove the saucepan from the heat.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter and gradually add the flour, stirring until combined. Gently stir in the flour and butter for 5 to 10 seconds, until golden brown.
Slowly add the water and sugar solution to the flour and stir to form a smooth halva. Remove the pot from the heat and pour the halva onto a plate and let it cool completely.

You can also use vegetable oil instead of butter.
You can decorate the halva with pistachios or almonds.
